easter morn

we woke up to all this SNOW saturday moring the day before Easter. We had our traditional Easter tea set breakfast. I was wondering if they were going to cancell the Easter Egg hunt we were planning on attending at some friends house but by afternoon most all the snow had melted. The kids ran around in the huge open cow pasture and gathered as many eggs as they could find. The eggs contained fake dollar bills which they later used to "buy" things at the auction that was held after the hunt. My girls have never participated in an auction and were having a hard time bidding and figuring out how to win their items. Bugs, saw an item she thought that she wanted and it was at $10 and she stood up and shouted $45 (her whole wad). Ha ha! We had a wonderful time and I was happy to come home with silly prizes instead of loads of candy. Then we spent the day over at grandma Janets house watching conference and the basketball games.

Unfortunetly we do not have any Bahama vacation pictures to post (though I wish we did)! Hotel swimming pools are more our stlye of vacation. Here are a couple a picts of Dustin and the girls having a great time at the Hotel in UT when we went to Krystal and Duwayne's wedding and I had to include a pic of them also.

My sweethearts

I have always loved valentines day!! I guess because I have always loved cards and card making from my mother and I of course love chocolate and candy. I remember saving my valentine cards from my classmates and looking at them all the time. I of course always read too much into the Heman cards from the boys that said be mine. LOL!! Here are my little school girls with their valentine day loot!!

marble run

This is Fritz's Science project for school. Everyone had to make a marble run. Hey it is not fancy and yes it is mostly toilet paper rolls but it has water bottles, egg cartons, funnels, and popcicle sticks and lots of hot gule and tape. We sure had fun and it is entertaining. I cant help but drop a few marbles everytime I walk by it.

HAY

Last sunday at church, Chesnee took off her coat and threw it on the floor and all this HAY fell out and I looked a little closer and there was HAY everywhere, in her hair on her clothes and there was a small bale in the hood of her coat!! Here is a picture why: my girls just love to climb and play on the Hay Bales all around our house!
